I started doing yoga as a teenager to exercise, I never enjoyed being in the traditional gym setting and it seemed like a good alternative. From then on I would practice yoga on and off through high school and college but it wasn't until a few years ago when I became very passionate about my practice and discover all the benefits it has to offer, other than the physical aspects.
I grew up in Charlotte, attended UNCG and after graduation I moved to San Diego in search for a new adventure. It was in in the beautiful west coast, where I reconnected with my yoga practice. I began practicing daily and loving the way it made me feel, physically, emotionally and spiritually. I decided to become a teacher when I realized how passionate I was about yoga and how much I wanted to spread its love and message to the masses!
I studied at the Chula Vista Yoga Center in California, which was a pioneer studio in the area and it has inspired multiple teachers and practitioners for over fifteen years, I am incredibly grateful to have had such an amazing opportunity.
Other than my yoga practice I love to cook and bake, I have a "Street Terrier" named Flapjack whom I adore and I love hanging out with friends and watching all kinds of movies and concerts.
I am so looking forward to teaching and learning with y'all and getting to know every one of you!
